Are You Really In Love? 10 Signs That Prove You Love Him

So, you've been going out with a guy for awhile now and are really attracted to him, but are you in love? How can you tell the difference between lust that will soon burn itself out or if what you're feeling will last longer? Maybe you've been in love before, or thought you were, but this time feels different. The truth is, every time you fall in love with a different man it will feel different. He's another person, and you've changed over time as well, so don't look at your past to decide if you're truly in love with the guy you're dating.

How to know if you're in love -
 

1. You no longer allow a past relationship to bother you. Before you may have thought about your ex and felt sad or angry, but now you either no longer think about him or when you do you let the thought pass without as much emotion attached to it. This shows that you're ready to love the new person in your life.
 

2. People around you may comment about how much you've changed—in a good way! You may have more patience, laugh more, feel happier, and treat others better. Love can make you feel very positive, no matter what's going on in your life at the time.

 

3. You think about him and want to be with him every chance you can. You want to fall asleep beside him at night and wake up in his arms. Every time the phone rings or you get a text you hope it's from him. The moment you wake up he's on your mind and he's the last thought on your mind before you fall asleep. Yes, you feel obsessed!

 

4. Whenever you talk about him to your friends and family you can't help but smile. He makes you feel that damn good inside. 
 

5. Time becomes warped. When you're together time seems to race by yet when you're apart it nearly stands still.
 

6. It's hard for you to concentrate or focus on anything else since thoughts of him consume you. Your mind goes over your last date, the last time you made love, his smile, things you talked about, plans you've made.
 

7. You share parts of yourself with him that you never had with anyone else. You can be silly, share your goals and dreams, talk about things from your past that used to bug you, or just veg out.
 

8.  All of your plans for the future now include him. If you think about holidays, trips you want to take, or things you plan to do, you imagine him with you through it all.
 

9. You're proud to take him home to your family and to introduce him to your friends. You want them to see what a great guy you've found and how happy the two of you are together.
 

10. When you look around your house you picture him living with you, or you find that you start looking at rings. This shows that marriage is on your mind!
